You'll see in a log of spy movies people accessing secret rooms or safes by scanning their thumb or iris. The first thing I though when I first saw one of these "biometric" time clocks was "cool, I think I saw one of these in a spy movie." I have used one of these myself. It can easily distinguish one person from another. It is pretty cool technology.
